drugs addiction treatment

at Grow Rehab

We understand that drug addiction is a complex and challenging condition that requires specialized care and a comprehensive treatment approach. The misuse of drugs—whether prescription medications or illicit substances—can profoundly affect an individual’s physical health, mental well-being, and social functioning.

Our treatment programs are thoughtfully designed to help individuals regain control of their lives, providing both short-term stabilization and long-term recovery solutions tailored to each person’s unique needs.

What is

Drugs Addiction?

Drug addiction is a chronic condition that alters brain function and behavior, leading to compulsive substance use despite its harmful effects on physical health, relationships, and overall quality of life. Over time, repeated drug use can rewire the brain, making it increasingly difficult for individuals to stop without professional support. As tolerance develops, the need for higher doses intensifies, and withdrawal symptoms can further complicate the process of recovery.

Substances such as opioids, stimulants, benzodiazepines, and cannabis each carry distinct risks and long-term consequences. At Grow Rehab, we are committed to addressing not only the physical aspects of dependency but also the underlying psychological and emotional factors that contribute to addiction, supporting individuals on their journey toward lasting recovery.

The Impact of

Drugs Addition

Drug abuse is widely recognized as having serious and far-reaching consequences for individuals who misuse substances. These impacts extend beyond the individual, affecting families, communities, and society as a whole. Common consequences include:

  • Physical Health Effects
Drug abuse can cause significant damage to vital organs, including the liver, kidneys, heart, and lungs. It may also lead to nervous system disorders such as tremors, seizures, or paralysis. Prolonged substance use weakens the immune system, increasing vulnerability to infections and disease, and often results in malnutrition due to appetite loss and metabolic imbalances. In severe cases, drug abuse can lead to overdose and death.
  • Mental Health Effects
Long-term drug use is frequently associated with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and paranoia. Individuals may experience hallucinations or delusions, impaired logical thinking, personality changes, and psychological dependence, making it difficult to stop using substances without professional support.
  • Social Impact
Substance abuse can severely strain family relationships due to loss of trust, ongoing conflict, and emotional distress. Individuals may experience social isolation as a result of unpredictable or harmful behavior. In some cases, drug dependence can contribute to criminal activity, such as theft or violence, driven by the need to obtain drugs. Social stigma may further hinder reintegration into society.
  • Economic Impact
Drug addiction often leads to personal financial loss as funds are directed toward substance use. Decreased productivity and reliability may result in job loss, while families may face additional financial burdens related to treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing support.
  • Legal Impact
Legal consequences may include arrest, incarceration, and a permanent criminal record, which can significantly limit future opportunities related to employment, education, and social reintegration.

Beyond these challenges, the emotional impact of alcohol addiction is profound. Many individuals struggle with feelings of guilt, shame, and isolation, which can make seeking help feel overwhelming. However, with the right treatment and consistent support, recovery is not only possible—it is achievable.

Our Approach to Treating

Drugs Addiction

At Grow Rehab, each client receives a personalized treatment program carefully designed to support healing and promote long-term recovery. Our comprehensive approach is delivered through the following stages:

  1. Detoxification
During the first seven days, clients undergo a gentle and medically supervised detoxification process to help the body safely eliminate toxins and substances. This stage focuses on breaking the cycle of compulsive use while managing withdrawal symptoms in a safe and supportive environment.
  2. Stabilization
Over the following seven days, clients enter the stabilization phase, which aims to restore physical and emotional balance after detoxification. During this period, clients are supported in rebuilding healthy daily routines, strengthening self-regulation, and preparing for the core rehabilitation program at Grow Rehab.
  3. Basic Physical Health Assessment
Upon admission to the rehabilitation program, each client receives a comprehensive medical evaluation conducted by our healthcare team. This assessment includes measurements of height and weight, blood pressure and pulse checks, a review of medical history, allergy and medication screening, body temperature monitoring, and HIV Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT).
  4. Psychotherapy
Our psychotherapy program includes individual counseling using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to help clients recognize and modify thought patterns and behaviors related to addiction. Psychoeducation sessions provide essential knowledge about addiction, rehabilitation, the risks of substance use, and relapse prevention strategies. Individual assignments further encourage responsibility, accountability, and healthy daily habits.
  5. Recovery Assistance
Each client is paired with a dedicated addiction counselor who offers personalized guidance, continuous monitoring, and emotional support throughout the recovery journey.
  6. Satu Nusa Holistic Therapy®
Satu Nusa Holistic Therapy® is an evidence-based treatment approach officially registered with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. This integrative method combines traditional and non-traditional therapies—including Morning Therapy, Relaxation Therapy, and Recreation Therapy—to support recovery across the Eight Dimensions of Holistic Well-being.
  7. Aftercare
Following completion of the core rehabilitation program, clients receive ongoing aftercare support. This includes regular monitoring, random urine testing, access to recovery support communities, and basic addiction counselor training for individuals interested in supporting others on their recovery journey.
